| SUBSIDY INFORMATION |

UJA Federation of Greater Toronto provides financial assistance through subsidies to affiliated Jewish day schools, based
on their student population whose families are in need.
Parents apply for assistance through their child's school.
UJA Federation's Centre for Enhancement of Jewish Education (The Mercaz), allocates
nearly $8,000,000 annually for this
purpose. Currently approximately 2300 students at 13 day schools benefit from
these funds. This money comes through
the generous support of community donors through UJA Federation's annual campaign.
More than 30% of the students
within the Mercaz-funded schools received subsidies last year.
